Communicating CSAFE Research
The information below is available to assist you with effectively communicating information about CSAFE research. These communication tools have been designed as consistent representations of all CSAFE marketing materials. We encourage our researchers to take advantage of the opportunity to produce uniform products in an effort to convey a consistent message about our organization.
CSAFE Citation Guidelines
Researchers and other stakeholders who have been supported by CSAFE need to include the following acknowledgment in all products (i.e. papers, brochures, educational materials, websites, presentations, etc.). Support might include salary, start-up funds, student support, equipment, travel or seed grant funding.
This work was funded (or partially funded) by the Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence (CSAFE) through Cooperative Agreements 70NANB15H176 and 70NANB20H019 between NIST and Iowa State University, which includes activities carried out at Carnegie Mellon University, Duke University, University of California Irvine, University of Virginia, West Virginia University, University of Pennsylvania, Swarthmore College and University of Nebraska, Lincoln.

If you use the LaTeX templates for either slides or a poster, be sure to use XeLaTeX to typeset/compile the document. In addition, you may need to install the fonts in the “fonts” folder of the LaTeX poster template. This can be done by double-clicking on each font file and choosing the “install font” option (on a Mac) or the “install” option (on Windows).
