The Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence (CSAFE) announced the final agenda and speaker lineup for its annual Field Update on Monday, June 14 from 11 a.m.–4 p.m. CDT.
During the Field Update, CSAFE researchers will discuss the latest advancements in CSAFE research and provide insights from its top publications from the past year. Attendees will also preview research CSAFE teams are beginning to work on for the upcoming year.
In addition, CSAFE will present a special session on applying algorithms to forensic science analysis. In this two-part session, attendees will learn how algorithms are becoming helpful tools and critical considerations for their implementation. Panelists will be available for discussion after each presentation.
