CSAFE, in partnership with the Department of Statistics at Iowa State University, is hiring a tenure-track faculty member specializing in forensic statistics to research statistical areas that support that Center’s mission. This position will be housed at CSAFE headquarters in Ames, Iowa.
CSAFE brings together researchers, forensic practitioners, legal communities, governmental leaders and more to build strong scientific foundations for forensic science. The successful applicant will join over 80 interdisciplinary researchers working to improve evidence analysis and interpretation methods through probabilistic applications.
Our center has state-of-the-art facilities, outstanding computational resources, and funding to support graduate and undergraduate research assistants, post-doctoral associates, professional travel and other activities. From teaching to student advising, to leading a high-impact research program, the new faculty member will diversely contribute to CSAFE’s pursuit of the fair administration of justice.
