The Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence (CSAFE) researchers and staff will attend the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) annual scientific conference. The conference will be held Feb. 17-22 in Baltimore, Maryland.
CSAFE will be in booth 704 in the Exhibit Hall starting on Wednesday, Feb. 19 through Friday, Feb. 21. Attendees are invited to visit the booth to explore CSAFE Tools, the newly launched hub for CSAFE’s open-source software tools. There will be demonstrations showcasing these tools, and attendees can sign up to become evaluators to test the tools and provide valuable feedback. Information will also be available on the educational courses available through CSAFE Learning.
During the scientific sessions, CSAFE researchers will share the latest advancements in their research activities, including firearms, handwriting, and latent print analysis; forensic methods for digital evidence; and using statistical methods in forensic science.
