Several new interactions with the forensics community have been realized since CSAFE participated in the Forensics@NIST2016 event in November 2016. The leadership team has received contacts from several practitioner groups who are interested in collaborating– from Denver to Kazakhstan. Already, two new training seminars are scheduled in the Seattle area and in Virginia. Other important collaborations are still developing. These relationships are critical to CSAFE’s mission – practitioners refine their knowledge of statistical concepts and researchers benefit from an in-depth look at the realities of the field.
