The Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence (CSAFE) researchers and staff will attend the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) annual scientific conference. The conference will be held Feb. 9-14 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
CSAFE will be in booth 712 in the Exhibit Hall starting on Wednesday, Feb. 11 through Friday, Feb. 13. During this time, attendees will be invited to participate in a survey focused on how CSAFE can better address the research needs of the community, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in forensic labs and courtrooms.
CSAFE researchers will also share the latest advancements in their research, including firearms, forensic methods for digital evidence, and the use of statistical methods in forensic science.
