The Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence (CSAFE) Fall 2022 Webinar Series concludes Thursday, Nov. 17, from 11 a.m. to noon CST with a presentation on the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors (ASCLD) Forensic Research Committee (FRC).
The presenter is Henry Maynard, chair of the ASCLD FRC and a board member on the ASCLD Board of Directors. He is also the chief scientist within the Office of the Chief Scientist at the Defense Forensic Science Center.
In the webinar, “The ASCLD Forensic Research Committee and You: A Collaboration Worth Investigating,” Maynard will discuss the tools that the FRC has created and launched to help advance forensic science research and further research collaborations within the forensic science community.
Maynard will highlight several FRC resources, including the repositories for forensic research, evaluation, and validation efforts; research executive summaries; the Laboratories and Educations Alliance Program (LEAP); Lightning Talks; and the research collaboration hub.
