Alicia Carriquiry, CSAFE Director and Iowa State University Distinguished Professor of Statistics, has been named to the Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Education (DBASSE) Advisory Committee. This division of the National Research Council provides independent, evidence-based advice to decision makers in federal agencies on key questions of national importance. Carriquiry will join other experts from a wide array of disciplines to assist in shaping the division’s intellectual and strategic goals by providing direction on emerging issues in the social and behavioral sciences and education.
