CSAFE leadership would like to thank all the members of the forensic, legal and research communities who participated in our 2020 All Hands Meeting. Over 150 participants virtually joined the CSAFE team for a day full of learning on the research and training endeavors of the center.
If you were unable to join us or want to re-visit one of the sessions, recordings are now available in the Education Center. Each session was recorded individually. We invite you to review topics that interest you most or enjoy a complete overview of CSAFE work by watching them all. Presentation slides are also available.
In each presentation, research teams shared with participants significant achievements from the initial five years of CSAFE, and the overarching goals for research in their area in the coming years. Viewers received an inside look at topics researchers will explore, issues projects aim to address, new methods under development, and plans for transferring advancement from the laboratory directly into practice. A vital component of each presentation was describing how the forensic and legal communities can collaborate with the CSAFE team to advance each project’s mission.
A special thank you to All Hands keynote speaker, Lynn Garcia from the Texas Forensic Science Commission and Robert Ramotowski from the National Institute of Standards and Technology for their contributions to the event.
