As part of its 75th-anniversary conference, the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) premiered AAFS TV, a series of videos highlighting important issues and developments in forensic science.

The film series featured five-minute videos from universities, institutions and organizations making a difference in the forensic science community. The videos were broadcasted throughout the conference, held Feb. 13-18 in Orlando, Fla, and posted on the AAFS TV YouTube channel.

The Center for Statistics and Applications in Forensic Evidence (CSAFE) was invited to produce a video for AAFS TV that gave an in-depth at how it helps support the forensic science community. The video highlighted CSAFE’s research initiatives and resources being developed for forensic practitioners and legal professionals. The video also introduced CSAFE’s new online learning platform, CSAFE Learning.

AAFS TV also featured daily episodes highlighting news and reactions from around the conference and on-site interviews with conference delegates. Check out the entire AAFS TV playlist at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLGVe6BxyFHNW0rm-jT2P3l6Y4RO97cRdx.

CSAFE was also a conference exhibitor, and many CSAFE researchers presented research during workshops and scientific and poster sessions.
