The International Association for Identification (IAI) is an international professional association community for forensic identification experts. Comprised of individuals worldwide who work in the field of forensic identification, the IAI has over 7,000 members from over 77 countries, and remains the oldest and largest forensic science/identification association in the world. Education and Professional Development are core aspects of the IAI mission. To meet this mission the IAI holds an annual educational conference that offers a week of high quality, cutting-edge education and hands on training in the fields of forensic physical evidence and crime scene investigation. The IAI Conference is the largest in the world for Forensic and Crime Scene Professionals and offers a full week packed with scientific, technical and operational lectures, as well as hands-on workshops focused on a wide variety of topics. Topics include Crime Scene Investigation and Processing, Photography, the collection and examination of Latent Print, Footwear and Tire Track, and Bloodstain Pattern Evidence, Biometrics, and many other types of impression and identification evidence disciplines.
