Founded as a regional division of the International Association for Identification (IAI), the NEDIAI is a professional organization of law enforcement officers, identification specialists, forensic scientists, crime scene investigators and students, all of whom share a desire to pursue knowledge and excellence in the scientific endeavor of criminal identification. Examples of topics cover in workshop sessions include bloodstain pattern analysis, crime scene photography, lifting print off difficult and unusual surfaces, latent analysis and preservation and collection of footwear and tire impressions.
