The Innocence Network Conference is a national event that brings together members of the innocence movement and others for two days of powerful plenary and breakout sessions. The conference is always a special gathering, but this year will be all the more significant as the group is meeting in Memphis during the 50th anniversary year of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The theme of this year’s conference will be Race and Wrongful Convictions, with a host of educational sessions that will address the historic fight for civil rights and the Innocence Network movement’s fight for justice for the innocent today.
