American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) 2019 Annual Scientific Meeting
Monday, February 18, 2019 - Saturday, February 23, 2019
For over seventy years, the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) has served a distinguished and diverse membership. Over 6,500 members are divided into eleven sections spanning the forensic enterprise. Included among the Academy’s members are physicians, attorneys, dentists, toxicologists, anthropologists, document examiners, digital evidence experts, psychiatrists, physicists, engineers, criminalists, educators, and others. Representing all 50 United States, Canada, and over 60 other countries worldwide, they actively practice forensic science and, in many cases, teach and conduct research in the field as well. Each section provides opportunities for professional development, personal contacts, awards, and recognition.
The AAFS Annual Scientific Meeting is held in February, at which time over 900 scientific papers, breakfast seminars, workshops, and other special events are presented. The meeting is the largest and most prestigious gathering of forensic professionals who present the most current information, research, and updates in this expanding field. The AAFS would like to extend an “Invitation to Exhibit” at its 71st Annual Scientific Meeting in Baltimore, MD, at the Baltimore Convention Center (Pratt Street). Meeting dates are February 18-23, 2019; actual show dates are February 20-22. Space is limited to maintain high standards and traffic volume.
